Keep Your Body Slim With A Few Fast Weight Loss Tips

Before turning to weight loss surgery to get your body looking great, why not try a few fast weight loss tips that are much more safe and just as effective. If you want to lose weight you might need to tweak your diet and fitness plan just a little. Even if you have created a routine for yourself, if you are not seeing the results you want, why not try some of the tips below.
Drink water - One of the most important fast weight loss secrets out there is to drink water and lots of it. I’m sure you have heard this before, but if you are not utilizing this effective diet tip, you may be sabotaging the success of your weight loss. Get rid of the soda and juice and substitute your refreshments with water instead. Soda and juice are loaded with calories and sugar as opposed to water which is not. Water also flushes out toxins from your system and fills you up so you eat less. That is why it is so effective to use in any diet plan.
Eat more - Eating three square meals a day might work for some people, but for people with serious weight loss goals, eating more than that is what they need. This might sound strange to you but if you are only eating three times a day chances are your meals are large. Your body is not able to metabolize large meals and will quickly turn into fat. It is recommended that you eat 5 to 6 times each day. You will eat a light breakfast and then a couple hours later a light snack such as a protein bar or shake. Then you will eat a light lunch following up a couple hours later with a light snack and then do the same for dinner. You also want to be sure that you stop eating after 6pm. You are not active at bedtime so you do not give your body a chance to burn off the calories, therefore eating after 6pm is not recommended.
Add protein - When making your three meals each day, be sure to add protein. You can do this by adding eggs, chicken or pork, protein shakes and bars and other protein enriched foods. Try to stay away from red meats as they are high in fat and only allow yourself up to 4oz at a time of meat for each meal. Choosing protein enriched foods helps to boost your metabolism and enables your body to turn fat into muscle. Also, choose protein foods that are low in fat.
Cut Calories - This is a very old method for fast weight loss but very effective. The average person needs 2000 calories a day, more or less depending on your weight. You need to determine how many calories you need to intake each day and then simply take in less calories. So for instance, if it is recommended that you take in 1700 calories a day, then you would want to take in no more than 1600 to lose weight. A simple chart to follow is below:

450 calorie deficit = you will lose 1/8 lb a days or 11 lbs in 90 days
900 calorie deficit = you will lose 1/4 lb a days or 22 lbs in 90 days
1100 calorie deficit = you will lose 1/3 lb a days or 30 lbs in 90 days
1600 calorie deficit = you will lose 1/2 lb a day or 45 lbs in 90 days
For every 3500 calories that you deduct, you burn off 1 pound of fat. You can use this chart to set your diet plan.
Exercise on an empty stomach - The last tip is to not only exercise but to do it with an empty stomach. The reason why you want to do this is because when you exercise, your body will be in “fat burning mode”. Your body has two sources of energy, stored fat and stored carbs. When you are exercising you want your body to burn your stored fat for energy. If you eat something before you workout, then you are actually putting carbs into your body and therefore your body will turn to burning those carbs for energy. If you exercise on an empty stomach, your body will burn the stored fat on your hips, buttocks and thighs instead. This is amazingly effective.
Follow these tips for effective fast weight loss and be consistent. It does take commitment and follow through to achieve your weight loss goal, but the effort you put into it will be worth it when you look in the mirror and see a leaner, sculpted body.
