Getting Rid of Acne with Clearasil

Getting Rid of Acne with Clearasil

Nobody wants to deal with acne. The pimples that result from the condition are ugly, nasty and sometimes even painful! So, it’s no wonder why so many people are tempted to pop them, especially when they become whiteheads. However, doing that can result in permanent scarring, since the skin gets damaged. In addition, usually right after you pop the pimple, your face actually looks worse, since the area swells up. This can be a disaster when you’re trying to put on makeup.

That’s why you want to consider a healthier alternative; Clearasil. This is an acne treatment that has been around since 1950. It continues to be popular because it’s fast-acting and it does the job without leaving blotches. In addition, the brand offers more innovative application methods. A specific example can be seen in the Clearasil pen. Designed just like a regular pen, the Clearasil pen applies the medication with the simple twist of a cap. You just keep twisting the cap until you get the desired amount.

Clearasil can also be applied through a cleansing pad, very similar to how Stridex works. As you rub the pad on your face, you remove the surface dirt, (which shows up on the pad). At the same time, you are coating your skin with the medication.

If innovation doesn’t impress you, there’s always the old-fashioned Clearasil cream. This comes packaged in tubes of varying sizes. There are also different strengths you can choose from. I always used the strongest formulas, as my acne problem was really bad growing up. But just be aware that the stronger formulas might burn your skin. I had even suffered a bit of irritation using too much Clearasil.

To prevent this complication, only use a drop of medication, and apply it right on the pimple. If you have several rows of pimples, (like I used to have), consider using the pads instead of the cream.
