If you having been looking for a way to lose weight and keep it off, there are things you can do without having to entertain all those short lived crash diets. For instance, say you are looking to lose 10 pounds and your body requires you to consume 2000 calories a day. By eating no more than 1500 calories a day, you will begin to lose weight. Now combine this strategy with a regular fitness regimen and you will have the natural key to losing weight at a safe pace and still be able to eat the foods you want.
While doing this, make sure you are consuming at least 8 glasses of water a day. Water helps with the weight loss process by keeping your body hydrated, flushing out toxins and keeping you feeling full.
Substitute white foods for brown, wheat and whole grains. For example, eat brown rice rather than white and whole wheat bread rather than white. Eat a salad before each meal to help fill you up causing you to eat less.
