It is better to be proactive when it comes to your skin
When we are young the last thing we think about is taking care of our skin. We dye our hair, count calories, and try to firm and tighten every muscle. We just assume we will always have the young, beautiful skin we have. This is not the case. To keep beautiful skin you need to properly maintain it.
The first thing you need to do on a daily basis is clean your skin. There are many different facial cleansers on the market. They are very affordable. There is a wide variety so it should be easy to find one to fit your skin type.
The second thing you need to do in your facial regiment is to exfoliate your skin. You should not exfoliate every day. Once a week should be sufficient. There are awesome facial scrubs that can be purchased at any drug store. St. Ives Apricot Scrub is a great inexpensive scrub.
You need to moisturize your face everyday. There are moisturizer that are specifically made to be put on your face. They are generally inexpensive however, some can be expensive. There are some that claim to reverse damage done to your skin. They are typically more expensive.
Make sure that before going outside you always put on sun block. Sun block is needed every single day no matter what the weather is like outside. Protecting your skin from the sun will help to keep it from getting age spots, wrinkles, and freckles.
It is easier to be proactive with your skin. It can be quite difficult to reverse damage that has been done. There are expensive sometimes painful treatments available to somewhat reverse skin damage. Almost all skin damage can be prevented through care and proper maintenance. It is better to start when your skin is young and beautiful.
